A day....an adventure

Friday was the most fun I'd had in a long long time. It was my big day at Adventureland in Des Moines, IA with my best friend Josh and a few of his awesome friends that I didn't know yet. I left at 5:15 a.m. after only 2 hours of sleep. It only took me 3½ hours to drive there, so I got there more than an hour before the park opened. Right after I got in I got several new names thrown at me. I forgot them all at first. Later, Josh's best friend from elementary school, Evan, showed up. Out of all the rides, nothing was more entertaining than the age/weight guessing spot. I know I don't quite look 20 yrs. old. When I paid my $2, I let the guy try to guess my age. He guessed wrong, and no I'm not 15. So I won the stuffed dog that you see. I also have a priceless wallpaper of him. Leave a comment on this post if you have a name for him!!
So other than eating pizza and getting nauseous on the wimpy little swinging ship, we just rode some more rides and left. Next we went back to the hotel and then went to Wal-Mart. Evan saw how great the night could be and he went all out buying a cheesecake, some lemonade, and some plastic forks! We took our goods down to the hotel lobby and played a lot of blackjack using forks (and half-forks) for betting. After that the whole group of us started talking. Ok, so there was more laughing than talking. We moved up to the other side of the lobby and went totally nuts laughing. For the most part, I can't remember what was so funny. I dunno, something about drinking humor that is 80 spoof. And then something else about laughing gas that smells bad. Finally, at around 2 a.m., I left for home. I had to take a 2-hour nap and a 1-hour nap on the way home in order to survive it. When I got home I was only able to sleep for 3 hours! And the Chad that is so tired is now typing up this story! I'm done. Good night!
I have an obvious one for you. How about naming him Patch? He does have at least three patches on him. Or you could name him Bamboozle.
