Atlantis Found?

According to CNN, an American researcher may have found the lost city of Atlantis at the bottom of the east Mediterranean Sea. I, for one, have always been fascinated by research into so-called lost civilizations - especially since Biblical history tells us of a worldwide flood that could easily have caused the geographical upheavals to lead an island city to the bottom of the ocean. Now, we have no idea what Atlantis could be like. Most of what we have are Plato talking of it as an advanced civilization, I believe, and then a bunch of fantasy-based movies. I don't even know what its real name is (Atlantis was the name given because it was believed to have been at the bottom of the Atlantic sea floor). It was an architect from Los Angeles, not your typical archeologist, who made the discovery, and claimed that 60-70 architectural layout descriptions and measurements from Plato's writing matched the find. I don't want to regurgitate all the facts, especially since the AP did it so well.
